5 Tips for Bringing In New Business & Increasing Your Revenue


I wanted to share a few things that I’ve been doing to cause my business to boom with new clients and customers. You know when I find things that work for me, I want to share so that you can be successful as well.

Here are 5 quick tips on how to bring in new business and increase your revenue - like.. you can start doing these right now..


Take care of your current clients. Before you even start to seek new clients, you need to make sure that your current folks are happy and well taken care of. Send a quick email or text to make sure that they are happy with past purchases, see if they have any current needs that need to be met, or even offer a discount on a future purchase or booking to show your appreciation.


Show some love to past and current clients. Send them shoutouts! Post them on your social media to help them to get some exposure. Send an email of encouragement. I've always genuinely practiced the "Show Love to Get Love" mantra. My clients are my friends, and you should always support your friends. Also, be sure to ask for testimonials that you can share with potential clients and customers.


Create an exclusive, time-sensitive offer. This can be as simple as discounting one of your top-selling products or services for just 24 hours, or offering a special consultation or limited-time product to a small number of people on a first come, fist serve basis. Urgency and Scarcity are great for striking up momentum in your business.


Make DIRECT contact. It's ok to go back to the basics sometimes. In my experience, the basics get you paid. We are in a fast-paced, social media crazed world, where a lot of entrepreneurs think that simply posting a lot will get new business. You may get some, but there is nothing like direct contact and actually building relationships. Contact past clients and ask for referrals, while offering an incentive. Message new contacts and introduce yourself and your business, and maybe offer a small discount for a first time purchase or booking. And Lastly..


Throw valuable content around like confetti! This is super important. You can't just expect new clients and customers to fall out of the sky. By providing valuable contact (whether it's your social media posts, live videos, blog posts, email campaigns, webinars, podcasts, etc.), you are attracting more people, showcasing your experience and expertise, and giving your audience a taste of what it's like to work with you. They are also getting to know you - and we all know that people do business with those that they like, know, and trust, right? Lots of my content has gone viral on Instagram, Pinterest, and LinkedIn, which helped me to build lots of new relationships and obtain new clients.
